A man has been arrested and charged with the killing of his girlfriend. Pedro Lora-Pena of Belleville, New Jersey was arrested after the body of Diana Boggio was found in the trunk of a parked car in Newark on Tuesday.
According to Pix 11, the 41-year-old's body was discovered in her Honda Accord on Tuesday. Authorities believe that Lora-Pena, 42, murdered his girlfriend and then moved her body to Newark. The cause of death and motive are not yet public.

According to NJ.com, Boggio (pictured above from Facebook) was the mother of two children. Her ex-husband, Daniel, has spoken out in her honor, saying, "She was a good mom." He shared that Boggio and Lora-Pena had a volatile relationship and shared that she recently dumped Lora-Pena and filed a restraining order.
"She didn't have many friends because of her daughter, she didn't want to have a boyfriend," the ex-husband said. "She lived a calm life, she was very loved."
Authorities are looking for tips surrounding the case.
