A pair of parents in Utah have been arrested after their 3-year-old daughter was found dead on Thursday.
Miller Costello, 25, and Brenda Emile, 22, are each facing child abuse homicide charges for the death of Angelina Costello, according to Fox13 Salt Lake City.
According to a news release from the Ogden Police Department, authorities found evidence of abusive trauma. The Division of Child and Family Services removed the girl’s two siblings from the home, according to KUTV.
"This is a very labor-intensive and tragic circumstance," police told KSL. "It's been a very sad investigation."
