Police Couple Arrested For Abusing Their 7 Adopted Children

The two were arrested after police recieved complaints.

Tracy Jones, an officer with the Jacksonville, Florida Police Department, and Rosemary Jones, an officer with the Poulan Police Department in Worth County, have been arrested on charges of child abuse, according to AJC.

More specifically, both were charged with two felony counts of cruelty to children in the first degree. Rosemary was additionally charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of false imprisonment, both of which are felonies.

The couple's arrests was the result of an investigation after complaints came in about the treatment of their adopted children, according to Crime Online.

An investigation is ongoing. Those with more information are being encouraged by the GBI to call 229-777-2080.
