The Fresno Police Department are looking for help in identifying a woman found walking "mostly naked" down a street on Tuesday morning at around 3:15 am. CBS Sacramento reports that the woman's hair was wet, and she claimed her name was Joanna. She also insisted that she was a mermaid, saying she'd just been in the water.
Officers say the woman has mostly been responding to questions with "I don't know." Officers had her fingerprinted and searched records, yet found no hint of her who she is. They posted to Facebook with a request for anyone who recognizes "Joanna" call the department.
The post notes that she's estimated to be between 16 and 30 years old, weighs 150 pounds, is 5-feet-4 inches tall, and has brown hair and brown eyes. They have also noted that the woman has webbed toes on both her feet.
