An aspiring Australian rapper ate a decadent meal before throwing himself into the ocean to avoid paying the check.

Terry Peck who goes by the name 2Pec, sat down at the Omeros Bros seafood restaurant located along Australia’s eastern coast restaurant last week.

According to the Washington Post, Peck ordered two whole lobsters at $195 a piece, six oysters, four Corona beers and a baby octopus. He drank 21 oyster shooters, which are Vodka-based drinks.

The bill was $621 in Australian dollars, according to news.com.au, which equals about $466 in American dollars. When the check was delivered to Peck’s table, he jumped from his seat, ran out of the restaurant and across the beach. Restaurant employees chased after him, according to the report, and he dived into the Pacific Ocean. The cops attempted to convince Peck to coming back to shore. He tried to hide, according to the Washington Post, by ducking his head under the waves.

Lifeguards eventually towed police out to Peck and he was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of stealing and two counts of serious assault of a police officer.

Before his court hearing on Monday, Peck told reporters that he was disappointed with the food at Omeros Bros and wouldn't go back. He called the meal overpriced and the lobsters overcooked,  according to the Australian Broadcasting Corp. Peck also claimed that a friend was giving birth on the beach and he had to go help her, hence his dine and splash. His attorney explained his behavior in a different way to the judge: alcohol abuse.
