Shooting That Injured 7 Streamed On Facebook Live

After spraying bullets into a crowd, the gunman is shot by a security guard. Then, the shooter carjacks a vehicle.

At least seven people are were injured during a shooting in Myrtle Beach that was streamed live on Facebook.

The shooting began a little after midnight on Sunday. According to WMBF, a fight broke out and one of the people involved in the fight pulled a gun and shot the person he was fighting.  Myrtle Beach Police told news outlets that a security guard shot and wounded the gunman, but he was still able to carjack a vehicle and flee the scene.  He was caught shortly after and his name has not yet been released.  The secuirty officer suffered a graze wound to the leg and was treated at the scene. 

Some of the shooting was captured and streamed online by a bystander. The video shows the dramatic event unfolding. The crowd scatters as a man shoots repeatedly. 

According to WBTV, 7 people were treated at the hospital including the gunman.  None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
