A substitute teacher from Michigan allegedly brought a student down to her husband’s man cave earlier this year before assaulting him. Allyson Brittany Moran, 26, worked as a long-term substitute teacher and a girls soccer coach at Stockbridge High School for about a year, according to the Lansing State Journal. She is no longer employed by the school district.
On Thursday, the teen student testified during a preliminary hearing telling the court that he and Moran used to each lunch together and spend time together after school hours. Soon after, the two began exchanging messages on Snapchat.
"At first it was just normal...asking how I was doing," the teen testified, according to Fox News. But soon the two "started talking more in a sexual manner." The student said that Moran send him naked photos of herself over Snapchat.
In April, he was invited to her home. While inside, Moran “led him into a basement man cave then took off her robe and kissed him,” the teen told the court. He said he was sexually assaulted afterwards in her room. Later that week, the student returned to her home and was allegedly assaulted again.
According to Fox News, the teenager told his girlfriend what happened. A family member alerted police in August and Moran was arrested in September.
The Daily Mail reports that Moran's husband moved to South Dakota in June.
Moran faces three felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student and one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student. She could spend 15 years in prison if convicted.
