A teenage summer camp counselor has been charged with sexual abuse against his campers.
According to People, 19-year-old Christopher Faulhaber of Ohio has been charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition and three counts of endangering children.
Faulhaber was a camp counselor at Skyview Ranch, a Christian summer camp.
These charges come after two boys reported him to staffers on August 3. They claim he touched their genitals while sharing a cabin. Further investigation uncovered three additional victims. The allegations occurred between July 31 and August 1. They involved boys ranging from 9 to 11 years old.
Per court records, Faulhaber allegedly “admitted to having [the] victims in his bed and touching their backs and legs” when asked by police. “[Faulhaber] stated he could have accidentally touched their [private areas]. All the boys felt scared and could not leave his control.”
Faulhaber was fired from his job as a camp counselor. He has not entered a plea to the charges and is free on $25,000 bond.
He will return to court next week for a hearing.
