Police say a Dallas, Texas man killed his father, then drove his truck 170 miles north to an Oklahoma prison. Police found Jeshur Robinson, 32, sitting in his father’s truck Saturday morning in the parking lot of the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. They immediately noticed blood on his hands and clothing, which he said was the result of a fight the previous day. At about the same time, the body of 61-year-old Glen Williams was found in his home, dead from multiple stab wounds.
While Robinson was being treated for cuts on his hand, he tried to discard a knife. Police then found his father’s checkbook and credit cards in the truck, as well as methamphetamines and arrested him. Meanwhile, Texas PD issued a statewide bulletin after realizing Williams’ truck was missing.
Jeshur Robinson is currently the only suspect in his father’s death. He is currently being held on $1 million bail in McAlester, and is awaiting extradition to Texas.
