On Friday, a Denver judge threw out a case against Taylor Swift filed by former radio host David Mueller.
Mueller claimed that Swift ruined his career after she accused him of groping her in 2013. He sought $3 million in damages, but the judge said there was not enough evidence to prove that the Grammy award-winning singer got him fired, according to PEOPLE.
Swift took the stand on Thursday, recounting how Mueller grabbed her during a meet and greet.
“It was horrifying, shocking,” she said in court, according to a BuzzFeed report. “He had a handful of my ass. I know it was him. I thought what he did was despicable.”
“I’m critical of your client sticking his hand under my skirt and grabbing my ass,” she told Mueller’s attorney. When the lawyer asked why she didn’t take a break if she was distraught, she replied,“And your client could have taken a normal photo with me.”
Her testimony earned her the admiration of many on twitter.
Swift has countersued the DJ, stating in court papers that he “intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission.”
