Supermodel Tyson Beckford was not too pleased when an unnamed man showed up at his house to serve him with a lawsuit over a branded piece of exercise equipment that he had failed to properly promote. In fact, Beckford was so annoyed he pulled a gun on the messenger.
According to Page Six, the man had attempted to hand over the paperwork to Beckford but had a door slammed in his face. When Beckford returned he was armed and demanded the man vacate the premises immediately.
Beckford isn't denying that he brandished a gat, but he tells the tale a bit differently. His story is that he was spooked by “a very large white guy with an eyepatch” showing up at his door even though he lives in a highly secure building. Similarly, Beckford claimed the man refused to identify himself and that showing the firearm was simply a way to get him to leave.
Tyson's gun is owned legally, according to Beckford himself, who claims he has a concealed weapons permit.
TMZ notes that a police report from the incident was not filed, nor is Beckford giving any further statements on the situation.
