Good news for Teairra Mari. The singer and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star just had her assault charges dropped after getting into an altercation with her Uber driver in 2015. Those charges have recently been dropped.
According to TMZ, prosecutors have dismissed three charges stemming from allegations that Mari attacked her driver (when he wouldn't let her charge her phone). She reportedly punched him and stole his phone charger. Mari's attorney, Lonnie Brandon, says that the driver knew his story wouldn't hold up in court.
Last summer, there was a warrant for Mari's arrest when she didn't show up in court. She later surrendered to police.
At the time, she was facing charges of battery and theft as well as vandalism. In addition to getting these charges dropped, Mari also received back the $26k she spent on bail.
