Woman Convicted Of Murder In Silicon Butt Injection Death

Ross reportedly used industrial grade silicon in her procedures and closed holes from the injections with super glue.

Denise “Wee Wee” Ross was found guilty of murder on tuesday in the death of 34-year-old Wykesha Reid. Reid’s body was found on Feb. 19, 2015 at a salon in Dallas, from which Ross and her partner, Jimmy Joe Clark, worked, according to the New York Daily News. Reid had gone to see Ross for illegal silicone butt injections, to get what was known as the “wee wee booty.” Ross used industrial-grade level silicon in the procedure, and the autopsy revealed that the material migrated to her lungs, resulting in a pulmonary embolism.

The autopsy also showed that Reid had developed cysts in her butt from having had the procedure done a total of three times. Fox 4 News reports that other customers who saw Ross believed her to have had training as a plastic surgeon, and were told that she was injecting “saline” or “hydro gel.” They say Ross closed holes from the injections with super glue.

Ross’s defense attorney argued that Clark was responsible for Reid’s death, as they helped Ross clean of the crime scene and it was Clark who was seen outside the salon and who ultimately called the police. Clark is facing a manslaughter charge with a trial scheduled for June.

Ross is facing life in prison.
