The woman who was involved in a threesome that turned fatal maintains she was raped and not a willing participant of the sex act last Monday. Her boyfriend, 24-year-old Christopher Membreno, has been charged with murdering one of the two men in the ménage à trois, 20-year-old Manos Ikonomidis.

Membreno showed up with a group of friends to a Brooklyn apartment, where the threesome took place, after his girlfriend claimed she was raped. There, he allegedly stabbed Ikonomidis to death.

“She’s claiming that she was raped, that it was not consensual and that she said no over and over again,” Joseph Mure, the woman’s lawyer, told the Daily News. He added that she is having a very difficult time.

In jail interview on Saturday, Membreno told the Daily News he was reeling over claims that the threesome was consensual.

“I threw my life away for a f-cking lie? My life is over because of a f-cking lie?”

The threesome allegedly ended when Ikonomidis started filming, and the woman became upset, police told DNA Info. At that point, 21-year-old Jack Doherty (who was also in the threesome) and the woman left, leaving Ikonomidis behind in Doherty's apartment. Mure said authorities are still investigating whether the encounter was consensual.

“She has not been charged, and I’m hoping it stays that way,” he said.
