Todd Kohlhepp was sentenced to serve seven consecutive life sentences earlier this year for killing seven people. He pleaded guilty to the murders to avoid the death penalty.
The 46-year-old was arrested last November after police traced a missing woman’s steps back to Kohlhepp’s 100-acre property. There, they found the missing woman, 30-year-old Kala Brown, chained by the neck and ankles to a shipping container. The body of Brown’s boyfriend, 32-year-old boyfriend Charlie Carver, was found on the property.
According to PEOPLE, Kohlhepp also confessed to the 2003 quadruple killings of Beverly Guy, Brian Lucas, Scott Ponder and Chris Sherbert and to the 2015 murders of Johnny, 25, and 29-year-old Meagan Coxie.
Now, his ex-girlfriend is coming forward to discuss the decade she spent dating Kohlhepp, who was a successful real estate broker.
"I knew there was always something that sat really uneasy about him, but I couldn't put my finger on it," Holly Eudy told Inside Edition. She explained what attracted her to him.
"He gave me a lot of attention, made me feel like I was important.”
In a letter to the The New York Post this month, Kohlhepp wrote, “All of my victims were criminals.”
