A woman is accused of setting her husband on fire after catching him with another woman.
According to WKYT, 40-year-old Vera Wooten of Corbin, Kentucky reportedly saw her husband with his mistress in a car. She poured gasoline on him and set him on fire.
Per the arrest report, Wooten pulled her husband out of the car and proceeded to beat him. Meanwhile, the other woman left the car. When she turned back, she saw the man on fire and called authorities.
Wooten drove her husband to the hospital. He has burns on over 50 percent of his body, and he is currently in the hospital and listed in critical condition.
Wooten has been arrested and charged with assault. CBS News shares that she is being held at the Laurel County Detention Center.
