A Fort Worth, Texas woman was arrested Monday after her wife accused her of trying to use a stun gun on her while she was in the shower.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that a 30-year-old woman told authorities that her wife, 31-year-old Jessica Kay Bucklew, had tried to shock her with a Taser after an argument.
The woman, who has not been identified, claimed Bucklew asked her to shower with her. She declined, and got in the shower by herself.
Bucklew then tried to use the stun gun on her, according to Dallas News. The victim ran out of the house in her underwear and locked herself in her car until police arrived.
Bucklew denied using a Taser, and told the Star-Telegram that her wife was lying.
“I had met with an attorney about filing a divorce and she found out about it,” Bucklew told the Star-Telegram on Tuesday over the phone. “She became upset and made up this story.”
Bucklew said that she doesn’t own a stun gun. She claims that her wife does, though.
“I have a protective order on her after she assaulted me,” Bucklew said, referring to an incident she claimed a few days before the Taser incident.
