Robert Durst faces second-degree murder charges for the killing of Kathleen McCormack Durst, weeks after being convicted if killing his friend Susan Berman in 2001.

Robert Durst, who was recently charged with the murder of his first wife Kathleen McCormack Durst, was exposed to someone with COVID-19.

The exact condition of Robert Durst, who was recently on a ventilator, is unclear. 

Fresh off the heels of his conviction for 2000 murder of his friend Susan Berman, Robert Durst has been officially charged in the death of his first wife Katherine “Kathie” McCormack Durst, who vanished in 1982.

Prosecutors have begun presenting evidence to a grand jury regarding the vanishing of Katherine McCormack Durst.

Robert Durst was sentenced to life in prison last week after being convicted of the murder of one-time best friend and confidante Susan Berman.

The real estate scion was convicted in Los Angeles Superior Court last month of first-degree murder for shooting Susan Berman point-blank in the back of the head at her home in December 2000.

"The Jinx" filmmaker Andrew Jarecki seems pleased that the "man who’s evaded justice for so long" has been convicted of one of the deaths he had been linked to.

“Kathie is still waiting for justice,” Kathleen McCormack’s family said in a statement.
