Danny Masterson has been accused of another rape charge. The former Ranch and That 70s Show actor has been accused by his former girlfriend, actress Bobette Riales, of "repeatedly" sexually assaulting her.
“I stayed quiet long enough,” she tweeted. “Danny Masterson repeatedly raped me. All I seek is justice and to prevent this from ever happening to anyone else as it has for some time." She also gave a nod to another alleged victim, Chrisette Bixler. "My truth will be heard. I applaud her strength as well. @ChrissieBixler.”
Bixler responded, "You are amazing. I’m so proud of you. He will never do this to another human being ever again. He’s a thief in the night, but he overlooked some incredibly valuable things we still possess. Our voice."
As previously reported, Masterson has faced multiple allegations of rape. He was taken off his Netflix show, The Ranch, amid these allegations. "As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch," a Netflix spokesman told CNN. "Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him."
The actor shared his dismay over the decision.
Masterson said in a statement to CNN that he is "obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision to write my character off of The Ranch."
In early November, he was accused of raping four women. The Huffington Post claims that at least one of the women accusing Masterson did attempt to alert authorities but was allegedly stopped by the Church of Scientology, which Masterson and the victims belonged to. Apparently, the powerful religious organization collected 50 affidavits from Scientologists who rejected the woman’s narrative of the event. Huff Po obtained internal police documents describe the evidence against the actor, which includes, audiotapes, emails, forensic computer evidence, and a threatening handwritten letter by Masterson, as "overwhelming." Still, Masterson has denied the allegations against him. So far, no charges have been filed against him.
Hollywood continues to reel from sexual harassment allegations. Masterson hired hired lawyer Thomas Mesereau, who has represented Bill Cosby, and Hollywood litigator Marty Singer, who has represented Brett Ratner.
