Fed up with what they deemed lackluster service at a local McDonald’s, three Ohio women flew into a rage and assaulted a female employee of the famed burger chain. Security cameras caught the attack in the fast food restaurant’s parking lot last Wednesday after the women felt the victim was working too slowly when serving their families.
Ashley England, 29, Sammie Whaley, 31, and Mary Jordan, 33, were arrested and charged with assault and theft in the attack. Additionally, England and Jordan each face child endangerment charges since their children were present during the time of the assault and in fact, may have even participated in it. The women were defiant in their mug shots, smiling and posing in an exaggerated fashion. The victim, whom police have not identified, is recovering from her injuries suffered in the attack.
Bellvue, Ohio McDonald’s owner Tom Humbard later released a statement saying “We're grateful that our employee is recovering, but horrified that she was attacked. We thank the customers and employees who helped her, and the police for tracking down the suspects."
