Hollywood Gang Kidnaps ‘Halloween’ Star Daisy McCrackin And Gouges Out Fellow Actor's Eye, Police Say

Brutal details of the attack, including the maiming of actor Joseph Capone, were revealed in the indictment of suspects Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal.

It sounds like the plot of a movie, but this gruesome tale is real.

Three people were charged Tuesday with kidnapping two actors from the Los Angeles home of Daisy McCrackin, holding them hostage for more than a day and torturing one victim who ultimately lost an eye.

Daisy McCrackin, star of the 2002 slasher film "Halloween: Resurrection," and fellow actor Joseph Capone were held hostage by a group of three, according to the Associated Press.

Keith Andre Stewart, Johntae Jones and Amber Neal were charged with kidnapping, assault with a firearm and other crimes in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday.

Prosecutors accuse Stewart of entering McCrackin's home last May and pistol-whipping Capone. The trio allegedly put bags over the two actors’ heads before abducting them and bringing them to Jones' home in Compton. There, the kidnappers allegedly forced Capone to strip naked and sit in a bathtub for 30 hours without food.

That wasn't the worst of it.

An indictment states that Stewart "did unlawfully and maliciously deprive Joseph Capone of a member of the body and did disable, disfigure and render it useless." It's not clear what body part the indictment is referring to, but it later alleges that Stewart also cut and disabled Capone's tongue, "put out an eye" and cut his nose, ear and lip, according to NBC News.

Capone was also beaten, punched, and kicked when he tried to protect McCrackin, according to the indictment.

Meanwhile, Jones and Neal drove McCrackin to numerous banks, using the actress’ car, so that she could give them a $10,000 ransom for Capone's release. She wrote the group a $10,000 check. It was at that point that the suspects brought McCrackin home and let Capone go.

Jones and Neil are being held on $1 million each. Steward is being held on $2.08 million bail. If convicted, they each potentially face life sentences. The suspects are scheduled to be in court for a pretrial hearing on July 23.

Neal’s arrest on Monday was captured on video, now deleted and posted to Twitter.
