We've reached out to our Oxygen family to help us celebrate Green Week. See how your fav stars Go Green!
Tori & Dean use baby products and pet products that are better for the environment.
Aubrey O'Day from the upcoming <a href="http://features.oxygen.com/outloud/blog/entertainment/the-aubrey-oday-p…; target="_blank">Aubrey O'Day Project says:
I have a line within my clothing line called 'Recycled Love' and all the shirts are made from green materials. I recycle, do beach clean-ups, use all organic cleaning products, makeup, and hair products, and I take my clothing to a green cleaner.
Minista from Hair Battle Spectacular says:
I am committed to doing my part as a beauty industry professional. I am definitely a "HAIR DO" when I use organic and natural hair care products and natural oils for moisturizers and deep conditioning treatments such as shea butter, coconut oil, and tea tree oil. I choose to stay away from aerosol cans and I keep myself educated about what is new and environmentally safe.
The Scali family from Jersey Couture says:
Both on the sales floor and behind the scenes we do our best to have a "green" boutique. We process orders via the computer rather than paper receipts, so we save trees! We recycle! When a gown is sold at our store, we use re-usable garment bags rather than plastic. If you buy shoes or accessories, each client leaves with a re-usable canvas tote bag, rather than plastic. We even had a Bat Mitzvah girl set her party theme to "GO GREEN."
Adair from Running Russell Simmons says:
To be green/eco-friendly, I shop vintage.
In true Bad Girl fashion, Danielle from Bad Girls Club Miami says:
I do recycle. Does that count?
Atiba from House of Glam says:
I Go Green by separating my plastic and glass from my regular trash.
Simone from Running Russell Simmons says:
By giving up meat and dairy I am personally doing the most green/eco-friendly thing I can do as an individual. My carbon footprint is drastically reduced (even according to the United Nations!) because raising animals for food generates more greenhouse gas emissions than all the cars, planes, ships, trucks, and trains in the world combined. Plus, I'm saving lives. What is more "friendly" than that?
Brandi from House of Glam says:
I reduce by driving a car pool. It reduces the number of cars on the road. I reuse when I take all of Crystal’s old clothes off of her hands. And I recycle, recycle, recycle.
Tricia from Running Russell Simmons says:
I look for ways to repurpose everyday items such as bags, boxes and containers, ask for paper instead of plastic at the grocery store, use energy-efficient bulbs, eat organic fruits and veggies, and I turn off lights and electronics when not in use.
Kristen from Bad Girls Club Miami says:
I go green everyday. I never use plastic bags. I always carry reusable bags in my car. I always turn the water off and the lights off wile I'm not using them. I never litter and I pick up garbage while waking my dog. GO GREEN AMERICA!
Shaun from House of Glam says:
I use all natural cleaning products and soaps and I buy only organic/natural food. I also use this super cool machine that makes water from air known as atmospheric water generators.
