Legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell is chilling out after the rager she threw for her boyfriend's 50th birthday in India (like the party planner got arrested for "noise pollution", so yeah, that much of a rager) by stopping by her happy place: The Front Row. But for the Barneys New York x Disney "Electric Holiday" video, the catwalker tried out a different look that can only be described as Haute Walt Disney—she's a cartoon!
The delightful vignette follows iconic Disney starlet and fashion plate Minnie Mouse as she makes her way through fashionable Paris. She gets to strut the runway in Lanvin and brush shoulders with a coterie of fashion icons including The Face co-star Naomi Campbell, who sits front row alongside Disney-fied versions of New York Times' fashion critic Cathy Horyn, heiress/fashion icon Daphne Guiness, CR Fashion-Book editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld and, uh, The Cheshire Cat. Not sure if the two-toned pink feline was on the guest list or had the cojones to crash the show, but Naomi looks like she's onto him.
(Oh and Nicolas Ghesquière gives Mickey some touch-ups backstage. A clue on the former Balenciaga designer's next move? Anyway.)
The supermodel makes a pretty hot cartoon character—especially in a side micro-cut-out and cleavage bearing bodycon dress (Versace? Alaïa?). Maybe after hanging at the after party with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and the rest of the Disney crew, she could negotiate a few cameos for The Face. Ariel would be a great mentor for any bikini competitions and how awesome would PETA-defying Cruella DeVille be as a bad-cop guest-judge?
