Catch-Up with Madeleine from Season 1: "I Want to Work for the FBI"

By Oxygen

Madeleine only made it to Episode 4 in Season 1 of The Face, but she's been a networking, modeling machine ever since! She still hangs out with the Season 1 cast (flip through the photo gallery for proof!), and she's pursuing a very interesting career. Let's just say you shouldn't tell her where the bodies are buried. Wonder what Madeleine's up to? Scroll down to catch up!

What modeling work have you done since we saw you on The Face?

Since The Face I have been back and forth between Australia and the US, working and meeting with agents in New York and California. Some clients I’ve been working with are Loreal, Target, along with Australian companies, like Sportsgirl, Bonds, David Jones, Leona Edmiston, George Gross & Harry Who, doing various shoots and parades during Fashion Week.

How about other kinds of work or hobbies?

My main passion in life is film and television, so attending Oscar events while I was in L.A. was incredible! Another hobby of mine is being in love with Lil Wayne, and I got to meet him recently, so that's basically the best thing ever in my mind.

Now back in the real world, I am currently looking at studying Criminology, which I’m really excited about! I’m hoping to study abroad at an American University and I eventually want to work for the FBI.

Have you had any major life events happen?

My most major life event that has, and probably ever will, happen, was my dad getting cancer. At the moment he is still battling Leukemia, but he’s doing really well so that’s very inspiring. My main goal is to move to the US, which I will be doing later this year. I can’t wait to join fellow The Face alum, Margaux at Wilhelmina Models in L.A.!

What advice would you give to the Season 2 girls?

HAVE FUN! This might seem impossible at times, but remember to enjoy the experience as it truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Try to soak up as much of your mentors knowledge and advice as possible, as I still find things I learned from mine helpful today.
