We have officially entered a new age of body positivity. Ten years ago, shaming women - especially famous women - for how they look was commonplace and largely unquestioned. Now, if you feel the need to bash a celebrity's body, you better expect the clapback, because it will come...and it will be glorious.
Comedian Amy Schumer was the latest target of rude comments after photos surfaced of her enjoying a weekend in Hawaii with her boyfriend. The paparazzi photos of Schumer in a one-piece bathing suit attracted the usual body shaming trolls, but in an Instagram caption posted yesterday, the comedian decided to let her haters know that she's happy with who she is.
"I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone," she wrote. "This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda."

Amy's boyfriend of six months, furniture designer Ben Hanisch, clearly has no complaints. He posted this super romantic snapshot of his girlfriend on Instagram earlier this week, captioning it with the heart eyes emoji.
