A man accused of stalking Bella Hadid was arrested on Thursday night after he was spotted standing outside near her NYC apartment.

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old model caught on to him after she noticed that he'd posted a photo of her apartment building on social media, at which point her security team called the New York City Police Department to report him. Hadid told police that her alleged stalker, later identified as 37-year-old Ryan S. Perez, had been leaving her "numerous unwanted threatening messages" through social media, People reports, and she says that he's been been stalking and harassing her since December.

Perez was arrested about a mile away from Hadid's apartment at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night and was later charged with aggravated harassment and stalking. A spokesperson for the NYPD tells People that the investigation is ongoing.
