Blac Chyna recently gave an interview with Cosmopolitan South Africa that seemed to imply she and Rob Kardashian are still working it out, even though all evidence points to them being separated.
"I feel like every person who’s in a long-term relationship, or who is committed to their person, goes through ups and downs," said Chyna. "I feel like everything isn’t going to be perfect, but I know we love each other and we’re fighting for each other, and the people we surround ourselves with are rooting for us. It makes everything much easier."
Hard to say if everyone in the Kardashian family is really “rooting” for this couple, but at least one person seems to think everyone should just back off. Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex who has remained a fixture in their reality TV show life, spoke to People about Chyna’s comments and the rumors that Rob is losing it over threats to his custody over Dream Kardashian. Though it’s been rumored that Rob hides out in his house all day, he’s apparently such a cheerful dude that Disick hasn’t really noticed.
“Rob really is a positive person, so no matter where he’s at, he always sounds pretty good, so I think he’s doing good,” said Disick. “He’s my neighbor, we live down the street so I see him a ton, and he seems to be doing good — new dad, he’s excited, he loves his daughter to death, so it can’t be that bad.”
He explained that the reality show gives people a warped perception of what’s going on in the stars’ lives since, by the time they air, most of the episode’s drama has been put to bed.
“It is confusing and it’s tough because people really take it seriously. They really believe that they were there with you the day before. It’s a little frightening sometimes but, honestly, I don’t really watch the show just because I don’t want to relive things good or bad.”
So, maybe everything is chill with Rob and Chyna now. They did come together to celebrate Rob’s 30th birthday on Friday at a party at Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas in Westlake Village.
Or maybe it was just an opportunity to get some more drama going for the cameras.
