Chance the Rapper seems to have a good family life. He loves his lady, his baby and also his brother, Taylor Bennett. Bennett has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights, partnering with Leghorn Chicken on a sandwich in October, proceeds from which went to an LGBTQIA advocacy and youth homeless support group called Pride Action Tank in Chicago, according to LoveBScott.
On Wednesday, Bennett came out on Twitter as bisexual, writing, “My birthday is tomorrow and moving into next year I’d like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues.” Adding, “Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality and being attracted to one sex and today I would like to openly come out to my fans. I do recognize myself as a bisexual male and I do and have always openly supported the gay community and will keep doing so in 2017.”
Good for you! Obviously, no one is obligated to come out if they’re not ready or interested in public attention, but when someone who is respected and known does it they may be holding up a light for somebody who needs the encouragement and role model.
Obviously, Chance is on his brother’s side. He posted to Twitter for his brother’s birthday, “Love this man right here, through any and all. He has grown into a great man. He's got God and me behind him, he cannot fail he cannot fall,” with a video of the whole family together.
Love these guys.
