It turns out that there's more to Chief Keef's DUI arrest last year than the public originally thought.
Last April, the Chicago rapper was arrested in Miami after police spotted a passenger in his car seemingly conducting a drug deal, Complex reports. After the passenger was arrested, cops noticed that Keef (real name Keith Cozart) seemed inebriated and was sipping on what appeared to be lean. He was taken into custody and charged with a DUI, and later released on bond.
At the time, Cozart admitted to having weed in his system, allegedly telling cops, "When you find weed in my urine, I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card. You'll find weed in me."
Turns out weed may not have been the only drug in his system; according to TMZ, morphine, codeine, promethazine, hydrocodone, norcodeine, dihydrocodeine, and hydromorphone were found in his urine test, in addition to THC.
Due to a scheduling issue, the State's attorney reportedly dropped the DUI charge on Tuesday, but refiled it on Wednesday.
