Chris Brown and Lil Wayne have been named in a federal drug investigation. Miami music producer Harrison Garcia is currently facing federal drug charges, and according to a report by the Miami Herald, both Brown and Wayne may have ties to Garcia.

During Garcia's trial hearing last week, federal investigators claimed that Garcia directed his "do-boy," via text, to deliver drugs to Wayne and his crew, and referenced Wayne by name. Agents also pointed to another text message wherein Garcia sent a woman a screenshot of a $15,000 bank deposit from "Christopher Brown" in his account, writing, "Look who put money [in] my account." When the woman asked what the money was for, Garcia responded with a slew of smiley face emojis, writing that it was for "drugs," specifically "lean and sh*t."

U.S. Homeland Security Agent Kevin Selent also claimed that after getting arrested last October, Garcia confessed to selling "a lot of narcotics" to Wayne. In the past, Garcia has posted photos of himself hanging with both rappers on his Instagram page, and while federal agents believe Garcia sold drugs to support his luxurious lifestyle, Garcia's lawyers claim he was never a drug dealer and was only showing off on social media to gain a following.

Garcia's trial will continue on April 14.
