Do not come for Chrissy Teigen on Twitter, especially over something ridiculous. When will these people learn?
Teigen attended the Tony Awards with her husband John Legend on Sunday night; Legend was nominated for co-producing the Broadway revival of Jitney and won, which means he now has a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony. Now all he needs is an Emmy and he'll have an EGOT, which would be a major career milestone.
Unsurprisingly, Teigen was right by her husband's side during his big night, but one Twitter user took offense to Chrissy's presence at the awards show, HuffPo reports.
"@chrissyteigen will show up for anything." Twitter user @mrsbuttertooth wrote and then later deleted.
Teigen wasted no time firing back at the random hate, writing, "Yes, if my partner of 10 years is nominated, I will show up with him, you witch."
Like? He's her husband? What's she supposed to do, stay at home and watch it on TV? This is one instance in which clapping back was totally justified. Check out Chrissy's perfect tweet below.
