While lady rappers like Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott keep it real in the forefront of pop culture, there are plenty of badass beauties to be taken seriously in the rap game underground. Although all the stars on our "10 Female Rappers To Pay Attention To" list are incredibly talented, our girl Dai Burger's latest EP, which she surprise-dropped today, is surely a standout.
Dai Burger, the self titled EP from the queer New York cutie, is a perfect mix of club-ready grime tracks and old school hip hop. In a team up with Rinse, Miss Burger (also a spokesperson for Pat Field) debuted the new songs on Dazed.
"2015 has been a great year for me," Dai Burger told us. "I've taken all that I've learned in the past 5 years and turned it into something that showcases my true talent perfectly. Hopefully this project is just another stepping stone to my future endeavors. I'm ready for whatever's next & 2016's looking real good."
And here's a bonus track, "Choppin Necks," produced by Darq E Freaker.
