Did Jamie Foxx really get into an actual fight during a night out on the town last weekend? That's what recent reports are claiming.
According to TMZ, the actor was out with a group of friends at Catch restaurant in West Hollywood when some serious drama popped off. While Jamie and his crew were enjoying the night out on the patio area, another patron at the restaurant allegedly came up to them to complain that they were too loud. One witness claims the guy said, "You don't want to mess with me. I'm from New York," at which point someone in Jamie's group shot back with, "F*ck you, I'm from Oakland."
Eyewitnesses claim that the random guy then lunged at Jamie, and while one witness says he managed to pull Jamie down onto a table, another says Jamie was able to put the man in a choke hold and take him down. In any case, everyone involved was reportedly kicked out of the restaurant.
Sounds like a bit much, right? Foxx must have thought so, because he set the record straight via an Instagram video yesterday.
"I know you all heard about this sh*t, saw some videos," he said, holding a towel over his eye. "I just want to address what happened on Saturday."
Jamie then drops the towel from his face and reveals the truth: "I'm just f*cking with you all, everybody is good."
