Did Katy Perry And Nicki Minaj Throw Shade At Taylor Swift In Their New Song?

"Swish Swish" is inspiring a ton of debate.

Has Katy Perry reignited her feud with Taylor Swift?

Katy released "Swish Swish" this week, a new song featuring Nicki Minaj, and now some fans are convinced that the track is a response to Taylor's "Bad Blood," which Taylor supposedly wrote about Katy.

"Don't you come for me. No, not today. You're calculated. I got your number 'cause you're a joker, and I'm a courtside killer queen. And you will kiss the ring. You best believe," Katy sings at one point.

Some also wondered if Nicki was referencing her past beef with Taylor when she rapped, "Don't be tryna double back, I already despise you. All that fake love you showin', couldn't even disguise you." (She also might have gotten in a quick jab at Remy Ma too, rapping, "Silly rap beefs just get me more checks.")

Some fans also think the title "Swish Swish" is a reference to Taylor's last name.

Perry has already denied that "Swish Swish" is about anyone in particular though, telling E! News, "There is no one thing that's calling out any one person."

"One thing to note is: You can't mistake kindness for weakness and don't come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. And that's not to any one person and don't quote me that it is, because it's not. It's not about that," she continued. "Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period end of story. But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don't forget about that, OK, honey."
