Donald Trump took a break from his tax controversy to find time for a new target on Twitter: Snoop Dogg. The president is not happy with the rapper's appearance in the music video "Lavender," which portrays Trump as a clown that gets "shot" with a "Bang!" toy.

"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama?" tweeted Trump. "Jail time!"

In the video, which is from BadBadNotGood and Kaytranada, features Snoop Dogg. The video follows a clown theme, and near the end, one clown in particular who appears to impersonate Trump, gets shot with a fake gun. The video currently has over 2,000,000 views.

The tweet went viral and people have some pretty strong opinions about the president fighting with Snoop Dogg, especially in light of other current events.

Snoop's videographer Jesse Welle added in his two cents:

Still, it seems that the Secret Service may be interested...and there may even be some legal repercussions?
