It's almost easy to forget that before being called upon by dark forces to wreak havoc on our nation's dignity, Donald Trump was a relatively innocuous reality television star. But his latest political move is reminscent of the tactics utilized by reality TV villains since the dawn of the genre.
After Hillary Clinton invited Trump antagonist Mark Cuban to attend tonight's debate, Trump fired back with an invitation to Gennifer Flowers, a former mistress of Bill Clinton. And here's the real salacious part: she accepted.
It all started when frat boy hero Mark Cuban began trolling Trump as this dumpster fire of an election was just beginning to heat up. Noting Cuban's superior trolling skills, Hill-dog invited the Shark Tank figurehead to tonight's debate. Cuban accepted and will be in attedance. He even got a front row seat.
Understandably, Trump was pissed about this and fired off this tweet:
Haha, good one! I mean, good one in that this is juvenile and prurient but effectively badgering and nasty.
Anyway, Gennifer responded thusly:
"We have not invited her formally, and we do not expect her to be there as a guest of the Trump campaign," Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told CNN's Jake Tapper on State of the Union.
This leads me to my next question: when the F*CK are we going to be done with this election?!
I don't know if I can make it.
