Drake Admits He Has Secret Son With Former Porn Star Sophie Brussaux

Drake dropped quite a few bombshells on his new album "Scorpion."

Drake has officially confirmed that he is a father.

Rumors began swirling last year that the rapper had fathered a child with former adult film star Sophie Brussaux, and Drake confirmed the news though his recently released music, People reports. Drake’s new double album “Scorpion” dropped via Apple Music late Wednesday night and on the track “Emotionless,” the Canadian rapper reveals, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world. I was hiding the world from my kid.”

“Breakin’ news in my life, I don’t run to the blogs. The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call,” he added.

Drake continued to reference his child in the song “March 14,” rapping, “She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine. Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time, and all it took was one time. Sh*t, we only met two times, two times.” Sandi most likely refers to his mother, Sandi Graham.

He also commented on being a co-parent with lyrics like, “I used to challenge my parents on every album. Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent. Always promised the family unit. I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.”

Also confirmed on Drake’s new album? His son was born on October 11, and he celebrated in Miami when a DNA test confirmed that he was the child’s father, People reports. He also has reportedly only met the child once — around Christmas.

Drake’s candidness may be a response to allegations made by rival Pusha T, who referenced Drake being a deadbeat dad on the song “The Story Of Adidon.” Pusha may have had it all wrong, however — Drake began financially supporting Brussaux during her pregnancy and continued to do so after she gave birth, TMZ reported in May.
