Ivanka Trump "Feels Terrible" About Posting Ritzy Gown Pics During #MuslimBan

But not terrible enough to take the image down.

Ivanka Trump may have usurped the role of First Lady from her stepmother, but she doesn't quite have the hang of this whole presidential thing quite yet. After coming under fire for posting an image of herself wearing Carolina Herrera at a ritzy gala amidst protests against her father's horrendous and unconscionable Muslim ban, social media collectively dragged her. Now, Ivanka says she feels horrible for her insensitivity. You know what else you should feel horrible about, girl? Literally everything your father has done since taking office.

Here's the Instagram post that pissed plenty of people off:

In an interesting article on Vanity Fair, writer Emily Jane Fox wonders if Ivanka is just as oblivious as her daddy when it comes to decorum and tact, but noted the following: "Ivanka feels terrible about the post, and does not want something like this to happen again."

The VF article also noted that both Ivanka and her husband "were aware of the fallout from the executive order only in an oblique way until after sundown and the photograph was posted to social media."

But how "terrible" does Ivanka actually feel? Not terrible enough to take the image down.
