Just days ago, Kanye blasted Jay Z for his Tidal streaming service and for getting in the way of him releasing music with Drake. Although he once touted Jay as his "big brother," Kanye reportedly highlighted their personal rift, saying that their famous kids have never even played together. "You wanna know how I'm feeling? Come by the house," he said. "Bring the kids by the house. Like we brothers. Let's sit down."
Jay Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke revealed Jay's feelings about the rant with PageSix. “The last I saw [West], he spoke really highly of Jay. I’m not sure about the relationship at this point. I spoke to Jay [after Kanye’s rant] and we’re both just like, ‘We miss the old Kanye,'" (which refers to Kanye's own song about himself). Burke continued, "From what I know of Kanye, he’s usually really honest. So it sounds like something he’s going through right now. He may [say] something like that, and then three weeks later he may be back to, ‘That’s my brother.’ But at this point, with everybody’s career, we’re a little too old for rap beef.”
He's got that right.
