Kanye West’s new song “Facts” lists his many, many accomplishments in 2015 but one brag is getting rejected across the court. “Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman,” Ye raps on the hook, boasting that his Yeezy sneakers are bigger than Nike’s Air Jordans. Michael Jordan hasn’t responded but his son, Marcus Jordan, took to Twitter to respond with an epic emoji diss. “Yeezy just jumped over @Jumpman23 ??"LOL I needed a good laugh to start my #2016” he tweeted with five funny emojis.
Marcus then added a gif of vintage Michael Jordan laughing.
Kanye throws several more disses at Nike, who he worked with until 2013 to join Adidas. “If Nike ain’t had Drizzy man they would have nothing,” he raps. “If Nike ain’t have Don C. they would have nothing.” He even throws LeBron James into the mix. “Nike, Nike, treat employees just like slaves Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away.”
The basketball star says he hasn’t heard the song, according to Cleveland.com, but confirms he’s down with Nike, who just gave him a lifetime endorsement deal worth at least $600 million. “Obviously I'm going to side with Nike no matter who it is. It's just, it's family when you talk about Nike, and I'm always on their side no matter what the situation is."
