Now, the game tentatively (always tentatively with Kanye) titled Only One, has a full trailer. The game tells the story of Kanye's late mother's ascension into the heavens.
Other than the gorgeous visual style and sound design, not much else is known about the game. Details like genre, gameplay, release date or even media format have not been announced.
Kanye claimed in February that people had scoffed at the idea of him making a video game. “That’s not easy to do, man!" he had said. "Y’all just be acting like that sh*t is regular ... I go out and meet with everybody in San Fran, and they’ll diss the f*ck out of me. And I’ll be like, ‘I wanna make a game,’ and they’ll be like, ‘F*CK YOU.’ That was hard to do, bro!”
The trailer also coincides nicely with the announcement of the Saint Pablo Tour, made via TIDAL. According to The Fader: "The Saint Pablo tour will begin at the Banker’s Life Arena in Indianapolis on August 25 and will visit nearly 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada including dates in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago, Montreal, Detroit, Washington D.C., and Miami. The tour finishes in Las Vegas on October 29." Tickets go on sale this Saturday.
