Have you heard? Keke Palmer has a book out. I Don't Belong To You: Quiet The Noise And Find Your Voice is Palmer's first book, and in it, she shares her story in the hopes of helping other young women learn how to live their best life.
The actress/singer/author has been traveling the country to promote her book, and at a recent book signing at a Barnes & Noble, got super emotional when speaking to her fans. It's unclear what the topic was at the time, but Keke seemed to be in tears when discussing her journey.
"I hid myself from myself to protect myself, and that's what we do," Keke said in the video. "When we're in situations where we don't know what to do, we don't know where to go, we hide, and sometimes we hide so deep, we don't remember how to find that person again or reach that person again." It's likely that Keke was speaking about overcoming childhood sexual abuse, which she openly discussed on The Wendy Williams Show days prior.
Keke was holding church in that store. Check it out below.
