Kendall Jenner has finally opened up about her disastrous Pepsi commercial.
Just in case you (somehow) missed it: back in April, Kendall appeared in a Pepsi commercial and was quickly accused of co-opting activism for financial gain and trivializing police brutality. It was not a good look, to put it politely, and Kendall was pretty tight-lipped about the entire situation.
Well, she must have been saving her two cents for the family reality show, because on the season premiere of season 14 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kendall can be seen turning to big sis Kim Kardashian for advice on how to deal with her "first scandal."
"It should affect you in a way where you grow from it, and become a better person from it," Kim advises. "You know? But I just wish that you could see that there's light at the end of the tunnel, and that it will be OK if you're just like, honest and open."
Later, during a tearful confessional, Kendall finally opens up about her reaction to the backlash.
"I would never purposely hurt someone, ever," she says. "I would, obviously... if I knew this was gonna be the outcome, like, I would have never done something like this, but you don't know when you're in the moment, and like, it was the most... like, it was... like, it was so... like, I just felt so f**king stupid."
She continues, "The fact that I would offend other people or hurt other people was definitely not my intent and that's what got me the most, is that I would ever make anyone else upset."
Are you satisfied with Kendall's explanation or nah?
