Ask the average person who the most normal member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is, and they'd probably say Kendall Jenner. She keeps her social media beefing to a minimum, her love life seems pretty drama-free, and, compared to her sisters, she seems pretty low-key. Still, that doesn't mean she's immune to the kind of rumors that always seem to follow her family.
During Kendall's Instagram break, she posted pics of herself on Twitter where her lips looked plumper than usual, and the internet wasted no time in speculating that Kendall had followed in her sister's footsteps and had gotten lip fillers. Some even suggested that Kendall deleted her Instagram to cover up the fact that she'd gotten plastic surgery (not too wild a speculation, when you consider that her sister did the same thing).
"You guys, Kendall let me overline her lips today with lipliner, and now everyone thinks she's had lip injections. I'm sorry, Kendall!" she said in a Snapchat video.
Now, Kendall is speaking up for herself, and addressed the situation in a post on her app, Buzzfeed reports.
"When I deleted my Instagram back in November, people were saying: 'Kendall deleted her account to have full facial reconstruction!'" she wrote. "I think they might have been referencing the day Kylie and I did a livestream for our book. We had to hurry, so I let Ky do my face. I never wear lipliner or lipstick unless it's the occasional obvious red. I left all of the makeup on because we were so rushed and I went out and did my thing. I LOVED my makeup. I never say this, but I just felt so pretty."
"It's all so exhausting," she said of the rumors. "As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn't even make sense. It's crazy because sometimes I feel like people just want me to lose. People forget that they're talking about real people who have real feelings and actually live their every day lives (for the most part) just like everyone else."
Not to be shady, but didn't Kylie use the same "I just like overlining my lips" line before she started owning her plastic surgery? Just saying. But still — #LeaveKendallAlone, guys. What she does or doesn't do with her face is no one's business but her own.
