What's up with Kendall Jenner? Fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashian know that the supermodel has been largely absent from this season and there's been an air of mystery about her whereabouts. On this week's episode, Kendall reveals a scary health issue that's been on her mind.
"I wake up in the middle of the night and I can’t move," she tells her mom and manager Kris Jenner. "I think you’ve just got anxiety," her mom responds on the phone. Kendall's anxiety has made it onto the show before. but she's convinced it's something more serious. "Everyone thinks I’m fine, but I don’t feel fine."
According to Cosmo, media outlets are predicting - based on the footage - that the 20-year-old has sleep paralysis. The medical condition is one that causes a "temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or upon waking," per the Mayo Clinic. WebMD says that the illness "is simply a sign that your body is not moving smoothly through the stages of sleep. Rarely is sleep paralysis linked to deep underlying psychiatric problems."
