To me, the atrocities of Coachella acutely resemble a nightmarish medieval hellscape. Festival try-hards in fringe rolling on Molly? That gets a big no thank you from me. But some news about the much anticipated music celebration might have me changing my tune: Kesha will be showing up.
An unnamed source confirmed Our Lady of Glitter's appearance at the yipster summercamp, stating simply: “She’ll be there."
It's unclear if Kesha will be performing. If she is, this will mark her first high-profile showing following her various legal battles from the past few months. If she isn't, she's still set to sing at Nashville’s Dylan Fest, a two-day event celebrating Bob Dylan’s 75th birthday. Our girl is back!
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Kesha's legal battles are anywhere close to finished. Most recently, a judge had dismissed many of the pop singer's claims, saying that ""Although [Luke's] alleged actions were directed to Kesha, who is female, [her claims] do no allege that [Luke] harbored animus toward women or was motivated by gender animus when he allegedly behaved violently toward Kesha."
Either way, we're happy Kesha is back on the road and spreading her unique brand of bloody and orgiastic joy.
