Khloe Kardashian was just slapped with a lawsuit, and it's all because she posted a photo of herself on Instagram — no, seriously.
According to Us Weekly, a photo agency called Xposure Photos filed a federal lawsuit against Khloe this week for posting their photo of her without crediting them. According to court documents, they're accusing Khloe of removing the copyright information from the pic before posting it illegally on Instagram, and the company is now seeking $150,000 in compensation from the reality TV star. It is their belief that by posting the photo, Khloe hurt their business considerably.
"Kardashian's Instagram post made the photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers and others, consumers of entertainment news — and especially news and images of Kardashian herself, as evidenced by their status as followers of Kardashian —who would otherwise be interested in viewing licensed versions of the photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff's customers," reads a statement released by the company.
Khloe's camp has yet to comment on the pending legal action against her. Drama, drama, drama...
