The drama all started when Star publicly slammed Kim's swatches; KKW beauty fans didn't take kindly to his criticism, and some brought up Star's racist past in their responses to him. In a series of Snapchat videos on Monday, Kim called out those fans for bringing up Star's racist history, claiming that because he later apologized for his actions, they shouldn't be used against him.
"I get [that] it's a serious deal if you say racial things, but I do believe in people changing, and people that apologize, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and accept that people change and move on," she said.
"I know better than anyone that I hate when people bring up my past or mistakes that I've made in the past," she added. "So let him live."
Kim faced a ton of criticism on social media for her statements; some accused the reality TV star of commenting on a situation without knowing enough about it, while others argued that it was not Kim's place to tell people of color how they should feel about racism.
Kim issued an apology on Tuesday, via Snapchat once again.
"I really wanted to apologize to you guys and my fans for defending a situation yesterday that I really didn't know enough about," she said. "I just feel a bit naive and I do want to really apologize for me feeling like I had the right to say, 'Get over it,' in a situation that involves racism. I don't really feel like I have the right to speak on that.
"I really am sorry and I just want to move forward and be positive," she added.
How do you feel about the situation? Star, is a series of tweets, pretty much said that he's beyond over it. Sound off in the comments below.
