The attack on Monday night took the lives of 22 people and injured dozens more as they were exiting an Ariana Grande concert. Kim shared her condolences on Twitter, writing, "Concerts are supposed to be a place where u can let loose & have fun. So scary not to feel safe in this world. @arianagrande I love you."
To accompany her tweet, she posted a pic of her and Ariana Grande at a crowded concert, and the backlash flooded in.
The reality star was accused of being narcissistic and chastised for making a tragedy all about her, and now Kim has deleted the tweet, Teen Vogue reports. Kim has tweeted other things about the Manchester attack, offering her condolences to the families of those who were lost, but social media isn't quick to forget.
However, some defended Kim, pointing out that other celebs like Miley Cyrus posted pics of themselves with Ariana and didn't receive the same kind of backlash Kim did. It's a fair point — check out the tweets below.
