Kim Kardashian Just Channeled Her Inner Lil' Kim For 'CR Fashion Book'

Kim Kardashian has a pretty recognizable look — think figure-hugging dresses, nude makeup, and long, sleek hair. For her latest photoshoot though, she switched up her style in a major way.

Kim recently teamed up with CR Fashion Book, E! News reports, and went all the way back to the '90s for her look, channeling icons of the era, Pamela Anderson and Lil' Kim.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld explained her inspiration behind the latest issue in a statement, saying, "To me, 1999 was the last moment when fashion felt naive and innocent and free. 1999 is about a spirit of independence, and there are very few independent thinkers left today."

"I think right now a lot of people are looking back to this period of time," she continued. "Not only to find references or get ideas, but to see who they were — how good they were — and hopefully see who they can be again."

For the Lil' Kim inspired look, Kim donned a pink bikini, snakeskin boots, and an oversized fur coat. To perfect the look, Kim also wore a long pink wig, and recreated one of Lil' Kim's most iconic poses. Then, for the Pamela Anderson look, Kim modeled in a white top, fur-trimmed hat, and long, blond hair.
